Position Overview

As a Business Development Intern at Bainbridge, you will be a crucial member of our sales team, responsible for generating new business opportunities. Your primary objective will be to prospect potential customers, qualify leads, and schedule initial meetings for our sales executives. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, energetic, and eager to advance their career in sales within a cutting-edge company.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive outbound prospecting calls to identify potential clients
  • Qualify leads and set appointments for sales executives through effective communication and active listening.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in our CRM system
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate of BA/BS degree program in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role preferred.
  • Experience in private equity, financial services, or related professional services preferred.
  • Adept at handling objections and overcoming challenges in a professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate product offerings and value propositions effectively.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
